- 4 pieces of chicken thighs or breasts, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (like thyme or oregano)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried herbs.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the chicken pieces skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Flip the chicken pieces over and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can spray a little cooking spray on the chicken skin before cooking.
