Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the egg to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Let cookies cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For softer cookies, underbake slightly.
- You can add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
- Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
