  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Juicy and flavorful chicken kabobs cooked to perfection in the air fryer. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a summer barbecue!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes prior)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating as desired.
  5. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
  • You can adjust the spices to your taste.
  • Serve with tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
