- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes prior)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating as desired.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden color.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
- You can adjust the spices to your taste.
- Serve with tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
