Ingredients

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Take a cheese stick, dip it in the flour, then the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all cheese sticks.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and arrange the cheese sticks in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch.
- Spray the tops of the cheese sticks lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Let cool for a minute before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce for dipping!
Notes
- For extra crunch, double dip the cheese sticks in egg and breadcrumbs.
- You can use any type of cheese sticks you prefer, such as cheddar or pepper jack.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
