Ingredients

- 4 catfish fillets
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray or oil for spraying
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each catfish fillet into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly coat with oil.
- Place the coated catfish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Spray the top of the fillets with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fillets are golden brown and cooked through.
