Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Scrub the potatoes under cold water and pat them dry with a towel.
  3. Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  4. Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  6. Cook for 35-40 minutes, turning the potatoes halfway through, until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
  9. Add your favorite toppings and serve warm.
