Ingredients

- 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch or sour cream dip
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella sticks in half for easier frying.
- Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each mozzarella stick in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated sticks on a tray and freeze for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for about 30 seconds or until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce and ranch dip.
Notes
- Keep oil at the right temperature to prevent sticking.
- Work quickly to avoid cheese melting before frying.
- For extra crispiness, double coat with breadcrumbs.
