Ingredients

  • 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch or sour cream dip
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut mozzarella sticks in half for easier frying.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Dip each mozzarella stick in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place coated sticks on a tray and freeze for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for about 30 seconds or until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with marinara sauce and ranch dip.
